Daughter's eyes

My 11 year old daugter suffered a brain injury at 2. She has ptosis(Cant move her eyes side to side, and has no control of her lids) one eyeball looks staright at you and the other points outward. one lid is fully open and the other his half open. She has been treated by the same opthamologis for 9 years. He did two operations on her eyes when she was under 5 to straighten and lift the lid. He really never had any success and suggested we waite until she gets older. I am hesitant to let him try again although he was highly recomended, Can anyone suggest a surgeon who specializes in this.

Thanks

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
There are many good specialists.  It depends on where you live and how far you are willing to travel.  As a rule look for a major university teaching hospital with an ophthalmology training program.  The pediatric ophthalmology department would be the place to go. If you want someone in your particular region let me know by reposting.
