I also having this problem after my surgery yesterday. Dear justJeanne can u share did your vision back to normal now?
What is your outcom with the Restor Lens and small pupil? Did it return to normal is the contrast sensitivity improved?
Nancy
I, too, am having similar problems with the ReStore lens. I knew immediatly that there was a problem, and was told to "be patient". I have waited over four weeks with no improvement. I have found an article in the Eye World Magazine about a condition called Vaseline Vision in which every thing looks fuzzy as if looking through an eye coated with a film. The only way to improve this is by explantation. I now am faced with the decision of what lens to try again. God bless you in your position. Julie
I called my surgeon...he's gone now for a week. The nurses insisted that my dim vision is because of my constricted pupil and that it could even still be that way on Monday. I was told yesterday during the exam and today on the phone to "be patient." They said if I experience any other symptoms that I could call the "on call" doctor over the weekend. They will have their other doctor's there on Monday if I still feel I need to see someone before my scheduled appointment on Thursday the 24rh. Thanks for the advice, though. I guess I just have to wait and "see."
We do not give advise on post operative care but I would suggest you call your surgeons office early Friday and ask to come in for an extra exam. Be insistent.
