does chemical irritation causes dry eye sydrome, which inturn leads to sunken eyes, swollen eyelids?

i suffered some chemical(little bit of toothpaste and spray) and dust irritation in my right eye before. i suspect whether it has caused dry eye as my right eye does not seem to produce any tears much. though i used lubricant eyedrops, i can't use it always.i have a very tiny bump in the lacrymal gland region of upper eyelid.

i have a doubt. in dry eyes, if lubricant eye drops are not used, what does the eye do to keep cornea moist?does it takes the fat from cells coating it, leading to sunken eyes? i really suffer from sunken eyes suddenly.

please answer my query.

Do you have any before and after photos that show how your eyes are suddenly sunken?  If not, you should look at pics of yourself before you noticed this and have someone else take a photo from the same angle, with the same lighting  to demonstrate the change.
