Trabeculectomy and Cataract Surgery

This is an update to questions I asked in early March.  I had the surgery Jan. 08'  I now have my new glasses and wearing a contact in my right eye.  I had the surgery on the left eye and the IOL pushed forward and stuck to my iris.
So I went from being very farsighted to being  nearsighted in the operated eye and farsighted in the right eye.  My vision in the left eye was 20/30 before the surgery. I had perh. damage done from the glaucoma..   My question is which I have been unable to get answered is my operated eye is very foggy but I can still pass the test for 20/30 although I'm guessing like crazy and have to take their word for it that I got it correct.  (I've already had yag capsulary surgery) But the fogginess is all over, central vision too.  The doctor gives me the impression I should be happy that I've got 20/30 and I am but it is so foggy and I want to know why..Please advise me of questions to ask or you thoughts of what could have happened..It's like they put in a greasy lense.  Thank you so much for your help..

I would suggest a glaucoma specialist.

I believe our first answer was to get a second opinion from another eye surgeon and that hasn't changed. You need a fresh perspective on your problems and your options. Find another opinion at wwww.aao.org
