Retina Part 2

Retina Part 2
According to the retina specialist I (Dr.Bazuik),there is no fluid present in my right eye. The only thing she has told me is that their is severe scarring of the retina, and she is not sure what actually is causing the problem. She has also stated that there is nothing that can be done to either stop the loss of vision in my right eye nor is their anything that can be done to correct the problem. When I lost the vision in my left eye the specialist that I saw at that time was the one who told me that I had fluid in the back of my left eye. That was approximately 2yrs. ago. When my current specialist (Dr.Bazuik looked at my left eye she said that I did not have any fluid in the back of my left eye and that my left eye is worse then the right eye. Can you please help me to find a solution to fix/correct the problem with my right eye. If you are unable to help me fix/correct the problem could you please refer me to another docotr for a second opinion? I live in Oshawa,Ontaio

I'm very sorry for your condition, but I can not make a referral. That is beyond the scope of this forum. I can only make recommendations. It sounds like you are getting differing opinions. My recommendation, although possibly frustrating, would be to seek another opinion by a retina specialist. Best wishes.

Wills eye hospital in Philadelphia is one of the finest eye facilities in the world and is about 330 miles from Oshawa.  I would certainly consider giving them a call.

I'm sorry to hear of your condition, and wish you the very best of luck.
