lasik possibility

hi i have a high myopia of -9 for right eye&-11 for left eye.i go through pre asssessment test they said that my corneal curvature is above boundary limit of 47.5D and said to meet them after 6 months.am i eligibility for lasik is possible after 6 months?plz sugget me a advice.thank u

You are probably above the range for LASIK.  With very high corrections, too much corneal tissue needs to be removed to decrease the myopia, and there can be complications from this.  Also, you need to be evaluated for keratoconus, which can cause high myopia and high degrees of corneal curvature.

Regardless of your cornea curvature, most surgeons will not perform LASIK above -10.0 these days. Often, a different surgery, such as ICL (Implantable Contact Lens) would be an option for you, because it does not involve the cornea in any way.
