Effects of a camera flash

It's been around 11 months since my CustomVue procedure. Last night i took a self portrait through my kodak Easyshare C813 camera having 8.2 megapixels. Now there was a filmed window opposite to where I was standing and I looked at the filmed window(which reflected the flash) while clicking the shot. The flash was quite intense. Later on, I covered my right eye and read a calendar on the wall with my left eye perfectly. But when i covered my left eye and read with my right, it was 'slightly' blurred. My question is, 'Is this slight blurriness temporary?' and 'Is there anything to be worried about?' because I'm really tensed.

Oh, I forgot to answer the question u asked me.
Well after my CustomVue procedure, the clinical ppl advised me not to go about checking individual vision. So i never really bothered about individual vision till recently. And my surgeon says that vision always differs to extent or another in both eyes for other ppl too. Is this true??

Hi Anton,

Thanks for being kind to help me out here. Well, i have perfect vision in both eyes and separately they can both see fine. I guess I was stressing out too much. But can vision be temporarily compromised if there's a mild infection? Cos, I'm taking some eye drops prescribed by my LASIK surgeon. And when he checked my eyes, he said the flap's completely healed and he can't even see the scar.

Hello!
Your two eyes are not equal. Normally that is nothing to worry about. Most people don't have equal vision with their eyes.
But all eye mds exam the vision of  your eyes first separately then together.
So the question is: Was there a difference in vision before surgery? Or is it a result of surgery?

Thank You for finding the time to answer my query Dr.Oyakawa,
I just visited my LASIK surgeon this morning, and he said that it's fine. And I see perfectly with both eyes, so I guess I should stop stressing and checking each eye by closing one and seeing with the other. He's given me some drops for a mild infection. Here's a question : Do LASIK patients get same vision in both eyes? I mean when one eye is shut and the other is made to read something, should you be able to see as clearly as when both eyes are open?

This was not caused by the flash.  See your LASIK surgeon.
