Enlarge image from my artifical lens after cataract surgery

2 months ago I had cataract surgery. The image through the artificial lens is 20% larger than my natural one.  My surgeon can't explain the distortion.  The enlarge image has not changed after the 2 months of healing.  Please advise if I'm stuck with this distortion for life.

This has been posted before on this website.  it is not unusual at all especially if the eye that has not had cataract surgery is quite nearsighted, farsighted or has astigmatism.  Usually glasses or glasses plus a contact lens on one eye will take care of the problem. The important thing is that with a proper glasses prescription over the operated eye that it see's 20/20 and clear without disortion. If not clear and distortion free with glasses the operative eye could have a different problem like a cornea problem, IOL dislocation or macular swelling or pathology such as epiretinal membraine.  If your surgeon is stumped get a second opinion from a different cornea/cataract/IOL specialist. Be sure you have had a macular OCT done.
