Thanks, I understand completely.
I can give guidelines but I can't make a DX or give advice specifically. It is not allowed by MedHelp.org and it might be considered practicing medicine and establishing a doctor-patient relationship. you'll need to make your decision based on the general information I provided.
Thank you. I don't have any of those symptoms. It's just really achy. Ok to wait it out?
Incidentally, the SAME thing happened about 3 months ago (although the hit was more forceful), and it took a long time, about 6 weeks, for the pain to completely subside. You were very helpful then too! Thanks!
A corneal abrasion would be painful. A detached retina is unlikely but symptoms are lots of new floaters, flashes of light in the eye like lightening and possibility loss of peripheral vision. A hemorrhage in the front of the eye (hyphema) or inflammation (traumatic iritis) usually causes blurred vision, smoky vision, pain, redness and sensitivity to light.
If you have these it would be best to have it checked. If you go to MEE you might ask them to flip your lid and give an opinion about GPC, ask about continuing contacts and opticrom use.
