Explant tri focal Zeiss IOL for monofocal? Advice please.

After having trifocals in both eyes in January 2016, I have remained extremely unhappy. I now have opacification to the right dominant eye and require explantation, as I will not consider YAG. I am having it replaced with a monofocal lens. Aside from being terrified of the procedure, I am concerned that I will not neuro adapt and will still experience the horrendous halo's, vaseline eyes and poor vision in low light. Has anyone here had multifocals exchanged for mono's?

Use the search feature there are many stories and discussions of people unable to adjust to mutltifocal/accommodating/toric IOL and have them replaced with monofocal.  Just FYI you will still need a yag capsulotomy post op if the capsule is cloudy.
