Shining colors, tiredness, and other symptons.

Hi, I please need help with my case. I have been feeling tired every day, I see shining colors all the time (even when I close my eyes), I feel an inner ear pressure all the time (which makes difficult to hear conversations when there is background sound –like in a restaurant), I have headaches (specially in the rear part of my right eye) like 1 or 3 every month, and I can't stand the cold, never: for example when I buy groceries at Kroger, I have to cover my mouth with a scarf or with my jacket when I get some milk.  I already saw a lot of specialist, receive dif diagnosis and treatments (Thyroids medicine, eyes studies, ears, I got an operation for my sinusitis, I took allergy injections for years, I use the APNEA machine to sleep, etc),  but at the end I feel exactly the same….even two doctors said that this is the way I am and I should man up. I really need some light in my case. One more thing: I got hit in my head by a car when I was 5 (now I’m 43) and at that time I got fever and strong headaches. Any help with my case will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Thanks for your answer.  I have not been tested for Multiple Sclerosis but my Docotr said that I do not have Orbital Infammatory Desease.  What kind of test is the one for Multiple Sclerosis?

I'm very sorry for you. This must be difficult. Have you ever been tested for Multiple Sclerosis or Orbital Inflammatory Disease? These could account for your symptoms. I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Timothy D. McGarity, MD
