Seeing vertical contrast bars from light sources, what is that???

In my left eye ive all of a sudden started to see this vertical array of light|dark|light|dark transparent bars whenever i see point sources of lights like lightbulbs, my right eye has the normal dispersed concentric glow look to it (thats normal right i forget) but my left sees this vertical array, maybe 8-12 bars across and fades out in circle around the light source. The weird thing is it doesnt do this upclose, it starts at about 20ft away. Anyways this while this is annoying i dont have any other problems im still in my 20's and take good care of my eyes and im worried this might be the start of something alot worse what could it be? I cant afford to go to a optomotrist please shed some light on this.

>>Do the lines look like zebra bars and somehow moving a few mm back & forth?

Their bars of contrast yes, but they dont move.

>>Do you have high myopia? If yes I had this symptom and I was diagnosed with caused by foveoschisis

Thanks for the tip i dont have high myopia, in fact my vision is pretty damn good but i cant see super clear far away i can still read a street sign from 50ft. Both eyes are close in that respect. I looked up  foveoschisis  but there arent any understandable descriptions of what it looks like.

Figured as much, though short of surgery what really can they do? This isnt the sort of thing glasses is going to fix.
