Eye irritation with clear bump

I have a situation where my right eye (sometimes both) feels like someone is blowing air into it. I looked and there is a small tiny clear bump and around it looks red and irritated. It feels like something is in my eye. Occasionally looks like it does when you get an eye booger in your vision and i have seen a few flashes of light today from that side. I am sooo scared I'm going to lose my vision. I couldn't get in with my eye dr til tuesday and my eye feels soo dry in that spot that its driving me nuts. It almost looks gritty in that spot on the top layer. Suggestions?

Use a good artificial tear such as Systane, Blink, Soothe, Retain, Refresh, etc every waking hour or as necessary and warm compresses you can buy a re-heatible  eye mask like a "Bruder" mask and that will make your eyes feel better till you get in to see an Ophthalmologist.

I see him tomorrow. I have an abcess tooth on that side and have had a little bit of pain and a tad bit of swelling the other day. Is it possible it spread?  I had an allergic reaction to all of the antibiotics so I couldnt take them and now im waiting to get it pulled monday but my other eye gets dry too but it doesnt get blood red or have any other issues like the other one.
I saw the ER when it started swelling and it went down by the time i got there so he didnt notice any issues and said my tooth looked no worse then before. I'm freakin. But again I see the eye dr tomorrow.
One more thing. If im allergic to the dilating drops can they do the exam without it?
Very few people are allergic to eye drops. The drops dry the eye and often they are uncomfortable due to that. We recommend frequent blinking and using artificial tears every 30 minutes for 3-6 hours after a dilated exam. In those very rare instances that the drops inflame the eye and suggest allergy we put in a couple of cortisone drops at the end of the exam. BTW I had my eyes examined by my ophthalmologist today and they were dilated. I'm using artificial tears now at home and they feel fine if still a little blurry.
Does the eye seem tooth related? And thank you for the advice on the drops!
No not seem related
Thank you. One more thing and I am done lol. My eyelid gets puffy under that one side and looks a little swollen. Should I be fine til I see him tomorrow?
Yes if not feverish or ultra red and painful to touch
Ive had an off and on low grade fever for weeks. Its kinda red not too bad not really painful to touch.
It just feels a little trobby

I went to the eye dr. My retna looks good and healthy and he said the bump was from fluid but said it wasn't dangerous. My eyelid started swelling a tid bit tonight again and I mentioned it to him and he said maybe allergies but its only in that one spot in that one eye and i was curious if it could be A) irritated from the water bump (because its right by it)
B) irritated nerve from my constant eye twitching
Or C) the abcess related bc i get shooting pain in the nerve that runs up to my eye from my mouth.
Suggestions? Dont see the dentist til monday and I'm terrified infection is moving to my eye (as crazy as that sounds)
Your "eye doctor" was a MD ophthalmologist right? If so it appears there is nothing serious or distressing about the eye situation. The tooth abscess is a different deal. Not at all likely that a tooth abscess will move to your eye. Likely your dentist has someone taking weekend call and you can try to reach that dentist tomorrow morning.
