Eye socket shrinkage
My sister is 75 and has had a prosthetic eye since age 10. She had some problems with upper eyelashes turning into her eye socket. A doctor did surgery 2 times trimming eyelid. Now her eye socket has shrunk and is very shallow and with the eyelid smaller her eye falls out. Sometimes while watching television or reading it just falls. Something needs to be done but I'm not sure who to contact for help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
You need the services of an Eye MD ophthalmologists that specializes in eye lids, tear ducts and the eye socket. They are called "oculoplastic surgeons" Usually on the staff of medical school department of ophthalmology and in larger cities in private practice.
