Dear Sir,
Thanks for the advice.
The chalazia after rupturing on 5th Jan 2012 has reduced in size vertically (reduction in width). My son scratched the wound and it was bleeding. There is crust formation also.
Currently i am applying hot water compresses and have started homeopathy medicine (started on 31st Dec 2011).
Any thing else which can facilitate the healing process?
No way to tell if or how quickly it will heal. If it looks infected or does not improve in appearance see the Eye MD ophthalmologist

Dear Sir,
Will it heal after rupture?
Should i take him to the ophthamist or continue with warm water compresses?
thanks
Generally yes. Often this helps although a chalazion does not drain as well as a stye.

Dear Sir,
Today the chalazion ruptured after 1 month 19 days. It has slightly bloody discharge.
Should i continue my hot water compresses?

Thank you so much for your advice and devoting your time from your busy schedule.
Thanks a lot!
cleaning the lids with dilute baby shampoo or if available a product called occusoft foam eyelid cleaner or SteriLid foam eyelid cleaner plus an antibiotic ointment to eye at least at bedtime.

Dear Sir,
I visited ophthalmologist he suggested surgery for my nine month old son under general anesthesia. As i was worried abt anesthesia he asked me to come on April 2012 for surgery my son will be 1 year old.
Meanwhile he asked me to use hot compresses, my question is how long can i use hot compresses?
Any other things which i can do?
thanking you
