Eyes Getting Progressively Worse?

I am 18 years old, and I have had glasses since I was in 3rd grade (About 8 years old). I also have astigmatism in both eyes. I never noticed it until my sophomore year, but my eyesight gets progressively worse each year. Or at least it seems that way.
With each new prescription pair of glasses, I see so clearly the first few months, and then I have to start squinting to see through them and it even starts getting blurry.
Any advice on what this might be?

your glasses do not stop your eye from changing anymore than shoes stop the foot from growing. .  As long as your eye is healthy and you see well with glasses no problem. your other options are contacts and after your RX stops progressing refractive eye surgery
