I had my left eye dilated 3 days ago and it is still dilated and blurry. Should I be concerned?
I would call the eye MD or optom that did it and report it. This is more common in blue/gray/green eyes than in dark brown eyes. Also the type of drop used makes a huge difference. Neosynephrine and tropicamide wear off in 2- hrs in most every one. Cyclogel can last several days, homatropine almost a week and atropine over a week. For our patients that have this problem we us half the regular amount and we use only short acting neosynephrine and tropicamide.
