As far as I know, I have very little wrong with my eyes. Okay, I have a lazy eye and have some glasses for it, but I don't bother wearing them anymore. It doesn't affect me too much.
However, earlier, when I was leant over painting, I noticed the light flickering. It kept flickering, which really irritated me. So I switched off the main light and switched on the lamp, the flickering continued. I walked out of the room and into the bathroom, switched the light on and, lo behold, the flickering continued. By now, I was pretty sure that it was nothing to do with the lights, and more my eyes. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm panicking a little here.
As far as I know about my eyes, I'm short-sighted in one, long-sighted in the other. I have no figures.

It wasn't the lights, I did go to other room without lights on, and it was still flickering. To be honest, nothing has happened since.

You don't describe whether the actual light was flickering or whether you were perceiving a flickering light that wasn't really there.

In any event, before panicking you should go somewhere else and see if the lights are flickering.  Certainly you may be having some sort of problem with the electrical supply to your house that could make every light in it flicker.
