Floaters in teenagers

Recently, I've noticed 8-9 floaters. Should I be worried? Is it going to get worse? From what I've read, floaters in younger people are located in the premacular bursa but what exactly causes it?

It is possible to be born with floaters in the eye and still have a normal eye. Thereafter floaters develop at a rate of approximately 10%/decade of life. So at 26 about 20-30% of people have floaters, higher in myopes, less in hyperopes. They increase with time. They have been discussed here many times. Use the search feature and archives to read the many helpful posts. No treatment for them.
