The floaters will usually become less noticeable over time.  It would be wise to get rechecked again in three weeks to make sure there are no small holes or tears in the retina.

Dear Hellonoor,

Currently, the best treatment for floaters is the tincture of time.  However, it is important if you are experiencing flashes of light and floaters to get your eyes examined immediately by an EyeMD.  A new appearance of floaters, flashing lights or a curtain dropping may indicate a serious eye problem, known as a retinal detachment.
