I am young [almost 21]. I suffer from Retinitis Pigmentosa, so I had cataracts at an early age. Recently, I was told by my retinial specialist that I have a fog that needs cleared up. It came from having cataract surgery. It said I will have a laser surgery to correct it. He was brief and only said it was simple. That's also what I was told about my cataract surgery. I understand they are easy operations, but I would like more of an explanation of what will exactly be done. Is there pain? Will I be medicated? Will I wear and eye patch? During my cataract surgery I did feel some slight pinching and my eyes were a little sensitive the next few days. Will these procedure be similiar? I am just curious. Thanks so much.
