Ghosting images/ blurred vision in right eyf (Keratitis?)

Hello. Hoping someone here might be able to give me some insight as to what is going on with my right eye.Little history first...

I've had glasses since I was in 5th grade and worn contacts off and on since around 97. This past Feb. out of nowhere it felt like my vision just took a dive. My glasses just didn't cut it anymore so I went for an exam. When I went in for the exam the Dr. said I was -4.5 in both eyes and that my right eye had a "significant" astigmatism.I told him the right eye still seemed off a bit but he dismissed it by saying "You don't view the world with one eye". At the same time he said that I had conjunctivitis and that he could get rid of it fast by using antiseptic (the brown goop usually used on cuts and such). While it burned like hell, my left eye was fine after a few minutes. The right eye, didn't go so well. I had a toxic reaction to the antiseptic and it burned my cornea. I was so upset I got a refund for my visit and set up an appointment elsewhere.

That same day I went to another eye doctor who treated my "burned cornea" by prescribing Zymar. I took the drops for a few days and my eye seemed to heal up, so I had another exam done. This Dr. said I had -4.5 in both eyes and a "mild" astigmatism in both eyes. He gave me some contacts (biomedics?) and I put in my order for glasses. Even with the contacts the right eye seemed slightly blurred but I was so happy to be seeing clear I didn't think much of it. A week or so later my glasses came in and once again I complained about the right eye being slightly off. The Dr. said to wear them a few days to get adjusted. Oddly enough, after a few days, it seemed like both eyes were seeing equally well.

Your first mistake was spending so much time under the "care" of an optometrist.  You have the type of symptoms that cannot be diagnosed from history. See the cornea specialist as scheduled. Don't mess up again and wear the contacts.

About 2 weeks went by and everything was going great with the glasses. We went to take our daughter out to the movies and I got the crazy idea to wear my contacts again. Didn't really wear them very long, 8 hours maybe, but when I took them out and put my glasses back on, there was the blur in my right eye again. This time, however, the   blur seemed to get worse as the days went by so I rescheduled to see the Dr.

This time he said my cornea was inflammed and  prescribed Pred Forte drops. I used them, the inflammation went down but my vision was still blurry in my right eye. He sent me home again and said to not use Pred Forte and to return in 3 days. Instead I went ahead and made an appointment with an opthamologist.

Well I just got back from the opthamologist and they said they have no idea why my vision is blurry. My cornea is fine, retina fine, eye pressure fine..all the tests they took were fine. He referred me to a corneal specialist and said I might have keratitis. However, when I research this disease, the only symptom I have is blurriness. There is no pain, redness, irritation or swelling.

So I guess what I'm looking for is whether there is any other condition that could cause blurriness/ghosting but without pain or any other symptoms? I spend alot of time in front of a computer but eye stress seems too simple for this condition, not to mention I would imagine it would have cleared up by now.

Any help, advice or opinions are appreciated because I'm feeling pretty hopeless about now.

Thanks:)
