Glaucoma and blurry vision

dear Doctor,
my vision is blurry when I read small text and the opthamologist says I probably have early glaucoma- I did the spark field of vision test and couldn't see the peripheral sparks.  I argued him into giving me steroidal eye drops.  is my vision going to deteriorate and I should only read larger text?  I've been on clomid and spiriva which are known to cause glaucoma and increased eye pressure.  I might have LASIK surgery if it's safe so I can read and study

Steroid eye drops can raise the eye pressure also.  Reading will not cause glaucoma, no matter how small the print.  I would recommend that you see a glaucoma specialist for a complete evaluation.  You should also have a refraction to determine what prescription will give you the best vision, and hold off on LASIK for now.

thanks!  wow so the steroid drops won't help or there's a 50% chance they will help my glaucoma problem.  I can't study math sometimes in class when I can't see small type.

I want to consider LASIK but 2 doctors say I'm too nearsighted for it to be safe
