Glowing spots in sclera

Hi,
Okay weird question. Currently both of my sons are under going medical testing to rule out Tuberous Scelerosis and in the interim we have bought a powerful blacklight (woodslamp) to evaluate my husband and my skins for Ashleafs. So through  blacklight self examinations I've discovered these 3 areas of glowing in my sclera. In my left eye there are areas on both sides of the iris that glow and as well as one on my right eye. I mean they GLOW. Totally different than the rest of the sclera. We have examined my mom, husband, and both boy's, and none have this glowing in the eyes. Just me. I've read that Ashleafs are found in the retina.. Not sclera. So should I be concerned and persue an Opthamology appt? I've never had any sight problems and have never had a formal eye exam except what you get at the DMV.
Also- In recent years I've noticed more "floaters" and in the last few months I had a couple episodes of flashes of light in my peripheral vision accompanied by vertigo that last only seconds. Recently I've noticed just a VERY brief and barely noticeable vertical bouncing of sight..( Maybe nastagmus? )When reading or looking online.
Just don't know if I should be concerned and if it points to something in particular. Thanks so much for your ideas and expertise!

slc ut.  My Opthamologist seems to skirt the issue and I feel he knows exactly what it is, and if not then he could find out within moments.  the question is why not let out the secret - because he can't? by law he's unable to answer? so it up to some critical thinkers to get to the bottom of the fluoresences of the sclera under the black light. It's probably a long standing occupation of a pathogen and it could be detrimental to our health that's why we need to figure it out.  All I could come up with is a parasitic thing like shisto from the snails. it is here in our back yards so don't be fooled by that doesn't happen in america, it's only in 3rd world countries that stuff like that goes around. Look up parasitic infection from snails on youtube for a start. what fluoreses- electron microscopy would be nice, it's plain old curiosity plus health implications for the need to know.   chris L.

I went and saw an Opthamologist. He said they were mineral build up. He said they usually are on the whites of the eyes at mid horizontal line next the color part. He said it doesn't cause problems and is just a sign of aging. Only a few people get these.
It's weird.. I'm not THAT old and you certainly are not. I also have a build up of minerals in my kidneys... I wonder if it is all related.

I am not aware of a problem as you describe in sclera or iris in Tuberous sclerosis.  You should ask the doctor evaluating your sons.

You need to see an ophthalmologist regarding you floaters and flashes.
