Halo around light source

For last few months I am seeing halos around light sources. The halos are whitish with a pale brick red coloration.  at the fringe.Size of the halo is sensitive to lumen power of the light source as well as its distance. It is particularly disturbing while driving. Another noticeable feature is it is less with  conventional filament based bulbs as compared to CFL lamps. I am non-diabetic Cardiac patient. Had MCI and subsequent CABG surgery in Jan 2006.

This may be a sign of early cataract or a change in your glasses prescription.

See an ophthalmologist.

Thanks for the suggestion. I met an opthalmologist , he said that there are some deposits in my eye.He suggested that this could be due to use of Heart-related medicines, which I am taking regularly for last several years. I am advised to apply an eye drop 'Flur(Flurbiprofen Sodium Opthalmic Solution USP). I am using it for about a week, but no result as yet. Look forward to your opinion.               (
