Has ReStor improved?

I went for a 1-year checkup with my cataract surgeon. I had one Crystalens implanted in 2008 and have been generally happy with the results. I the doc asked what lens he was currently recommending and to my surprise he said that ReStor has been greatly improved and he has been implanting it almost exclusively with excellent results.

Has anyone else heard this? or has he just gone over to "the Dark Side?"

I had the Restor lens implanted  in my left eye on July 30.2009
It has been a horror to me.  Nohting is right. And the night glare sunbursts make it almost impossible to drive at night.  I will not have my right eye done. I am so sorry I went with this. I hope all goes well for me on Aug 31 when I am scheduled to have the  the Restor explanted I pray to God that there are no complications removing it..

I am so glad you are happy with your Crystalen. It is good to hear a good story for a change  That was my first choice.
