Hit in the eye.

I was giving my 6 year old who was lying down a few lashes, well 2, and he changed position to block off his arm.  My hand took him on the right eye instead of his arm. There is no pain but the eye looks a little smaller.  I placed a cold pack for a few minutes but it was bothering him.  Should he see a doctor?

If you hit his eye hard enough that it caused his lids to swell or droop, you may have also caused internal inflammation.  You should take him to an eye doctor.

Not sure what you mean by a giving a kid 'few lashes,' but yeah, eyes are not to monkey around with.  I'd take the kid to a doc.
