How can my Lasik treatment be verified?

I had Lasik surgery one day ago using the B & L Zyoptix system. I was advised to go for a tissue saving procedure and I paid for the same. However, on the day of surgery, my surgeon had two cataract surgeries prior to mine, and I have a nagging doubt that the tissue saving procedure was used for mine. Even though my eyes can see well right now and the surgery had no complications, I would like to verify if indeed the same treatment was carried out for which I paid the clinic. Is there any way to figure this out? How can you verify post-op if the treatment applied was the same as the one you opted for? Would be very appreciative for some help in this regard.

Can an eye exam verify be used to verify? I feel that if I ask the doctor, they may try to slide the question because then I would need to get a refund. Would topography pre- and post- surgery be used to tell the difference?

At your next visit ask your doctor which treatment was perfomed and ask for a copy of the medical records if in doubt.  Specifically ask if the procedure you expected what actually performed.
