Halo rainbow connected to glaucoma?

Hi Dr.

Is halo rainbow always connected to glaucoma?
I've seen some halo rainbow after I wake up (not everyday) but it's gone when I wash my face. I've gone to doctor but he said my iop is normal.

Thanks for your answer

No  the halo rainbow usually means there is some swelling on the cornea such as from wearing contact lens, getting something in the eye. Some people get swelling overnight because the cornea doesn't get as much oxygen because of the closed lids. Since it goes away quickly after you get up that is probably the problem or lastly some minor dry spots on the cornea that develop overnight in some people.
