Hi doctor ive been seeing a lot of eye floaters, an increase actually, but im not sure if it is a vitreous,or retinal detachment(or retinal tear)... last time i went to a doctor, he checked my eyes as any other eye appointment, after that i asked ive been seeing an increase in floaters, he said as long as you dont see flashes and a darkness over your field of vision your fine.. but i see more than just 3 or 4.... And in every eye apppointment do doctors check for vitreous detachments or retinal detachments.. im only 12 im freaking out...
please and thank you
No it can be observed with a blue background even a light whitish. There are instruments that use "blue fields" to allow people to see the circulation in their eye. Other situations might be shining light through closed lids.

Hey doc! ! Can blue field phenomenon be seen in sky only ? Coz i notice it at very bright surface 2 .
I don't have anxiety...what can I do to get rid of this?
Entopic phenomena are part of normal vision. Hyperawareness is often fueled by high anxiety levels.
