Increased floaters after retinal laser repair

Is it normal to have increased floaters after retinal laser? I had no flashes or floaters prior to the first treatment. The dr felt the need to add more laser a few weeks later (mid February). Since about three weeks after that, I have moving arc flashes..always in the same spot..and what I would say is thousands of pepper like floaters that I see when I go outside. Dr says all looks well..but why would the treatment create symptoms when there were none before?

There is a dynamic event going on your in your eye, usually a Poster Vitreous Detachment, that goes on for up to several months. New tension and traction can be applied, new holes or tears develop, new bleeding develop. Any time you have marked increase of new floaters, worsening of flashes or loss of peripheral vision you need to call the retina surgeon's office and likely go in for exam.

Thanks Dr! No vision issues yet..and still having regular visits with the surgeon. I guess I will keep my fingers crossed!
Keep them crossed but near the phone if something changes
