Injection for subretinal haemorrhage

I was diagnosed with Mayopic D with Lacquer crack one week ago because I had bleeding in my eye causing blurry and wavy center vision. Doctor put injection into my eye and I have follow-up in 4 weeks.
The bleeding happened 9 days ago and got injection 5 days later. But so far, I don’t see any improvement. I just wonder normally how soon it can start recovery. I guess this also case by case but any answer or hint would be very helpful. I am 40 years old for reference.

Thanks.

In January 2012, I had a CNV (choroidal neovascularization) in my left eye which caused a retinal haemorrhage.  I had an injection of Avastin several days afterwards.  After a month (no improvement), I had to have another injection.  I had another appointment a month after that, and by that time the haemorrhage had dried up, and the swelling of the retina had gone down.  I definitely could see much better than I could at the beginning, but I was left with a distortion since it is right in the middle.  Fortunately, my other eye compensates for it.

You probably need repeat injections.  The injections help prevent new bleeding or resolution of leakage.  However,  the blood has to clear on its own.
