Treatment for the inflammation would need to be dealt with by an ophthalmologist, but as to the visual disturbances, you have these choices: 1) live with it, 2) use a custom made tinted contact lens that occludes the iridotomy (e.g., Coopervision), 3) use dark-tinted glasses, and 4) depending on the circumstance, the iridotomy could possibly be sutured.
Use the archives, search feature and health topics to read previous posts about people with similiar problem. Some reported good results with wearing tinted contact lens. Suturing a laser iridotomy is going to be very difficult due to their extremely small size.

Thanks for your response!
My ophthalmologist can't treat the inflammation. It flares up again and again. He says it is permanent, because the iridotomy hole is a permanent wound which the eye fights, and this 'fight' causes the inflammation.
As to the visual disturbances, I can't live with them! I have tried dark glasses, the double vision is still there. I hope contact lenses will help.
Do you know someone who sutures iridotomies?
