Its all a blur

Had Crystalens implants 6/24/08, and 7/8/08. Have constant blur. 1 looks like 11, 0 looks like cherrio. distance vision poor and can not see one clear picture with both eyes. My eye M.D. said " sorry to hear that" on 7/24/08. On 9/5/08, I said there was no improvement and asked if lens could be defective or not aligned quite right. She said just "no".But she did say I was the most negative person she had as a patient. Who should I go to get the help I need and who can I report this unprofessioal conduct to ?         Thanks

You paid good money to have premium IOLs implanted, with poor results, and your surgeon accuses you of being "negative."  Maybe she isn't unprofesional, but I can think of some other adjectives which might apply (like "uncaring" and maybe "incompetent.")  Right now your priority needs to be improving your vision.  If you live near a teaching hospital, call their ophthalmology department and explain your situation.  See if they can refer you to "a highly experienced cataract IOL surgeon, ideally one that specializes in difficult post surgery complications" (as Dr. Hagan suggests above).  If you have trouble finding a new surgeon, post again.  Best of luck.

Get a second opinion from a highly experienced refractive cataract IOL surgeon, ideally one that specializes in difficult post surgery complications.

I don't see what is unprofessional. If you are the most negative (perhaps with good reason) in her practice and she told you that is it anything less than the truth?
