Just had Ahmed Valve Surgery. How long will does it take to recover?

I just had Ahmed Valve surgery almost two weeks ago. My doctor explained to me that it could take anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks for the redness and puffiness to go away. Does anyone know what I should expect in more specific terms? My eye is still really bloodshot and my upper eyelid still looks swollen. It seems to be a very slow recovery. The vision, however, has returned to near normal. If anyone has any experience with this sort of thing I would really appreciate your help!

Your eye surgeon told you.   2 weeks would be very fast healing. This is a lot of surgery. 6-8 weeks to whiten up and know the results are more typical.
