Dizziness / Headache , could it be my eyeglasses?

Dear Doctors,

I have suffered from dizziness and weird head pains for 10 years now, in general my head just doesn't feel normal. I have seen neurologists conducted MRI's for the brain, eye specialists, ENT, psychiatrists, you name it I have seen the best in the field to try and sort out this problem.

One thing which is very strange which I noticed recently is I always wear eye glasses my vision is quite poor and I am shortsighted, these are also perfect for my eyes, i get regularly checked and the top opticians have confirmed they are the right glasses for me.  I realized when I wear contact lenses it seems to improve my dizziness and head pains by at least 50% and i generally feel a lot better.

Has there been known cases where people suffer from dizziness/head pains with glasses and it is relieved by wearing contact lenses? and if I do LAZEK will it further help resolve my problem, or is this all just psychological and their is no science or known cases where people with diziness / head pains have felt a lot better with contact lenses than eyeglasses.

Regards

If you have a very thick prescription, you will likely see better with contact lenses, and with less distortion.  However, a correct glasses prescription should not cause headaches.  If you wear contact lenses successfully, with an improvement in your symptoms, then it is possible that a LASIK procedure might help, as long as you are otherwise a good candidate for the surgery.
