Left Eye pain when looking at screen

Recently I spent a week playing a lot video games on a giant 49 inch HDTV.  I never really played video games on the HDTV beforehand.  A couple days ago I played almost the whole day, and my eyes got really really tired and really red.

After that day, whenever I'm using a computer or looking at a screen, within 10 minutes of looking, my left eyeball gets hit with a lot of pain.  Especially behind the eyeball.  So much, that I have to turn away from the computer and get an icepack.  Now there are also two visible veins on the right side of my left eyeball that go to my cornea, they weren't there before.  What can this be?  Is this fixable?  I'm really worried.  Thanks!

More than likely eye strain overuse causing temporary dry eye syndrome. You need to rest your eyes and use preservative free tears (OTC) until you symptoms resolve.

I forgot.

I feel like the right side with the two visible veins of my left eye is the side that hurts.
