Macular Hole Recovery Issue

Hi! I had a macular hole discovered on 2/27/13 treated with the Jetrea injection on 3/6/13 followed by vitrectomy surgery 3/19/13, then face down 2 weeks, which went well. I continue to improve, vision is 20/50 in that eye. I have fluid under the macular that is sloowly getting absorbed. Anything I can do or shouldn't be doing to help me recover better vision etc? I'm reading how folks are driving two weeks after surgery. That didn't happen for me! I still can't drive at night and it is definitely affecting my employment! I usually drive 3 1/2 hrs to get to work ...I am an international flight attendant...that's not happening!! I live in a rural area and driving is a must. I am thankful for the vision I have gotten back. Originally I was 20/20 in both eyes and starting to need cheaters for reading. Any suggestions would be great. I'm worried that I have reached the maximum medical improvement and my flying career is over!
Thank you!

Thanks Dr Fazio. I guess I should add...we've tried three times to see if glasses will improve or tweak my vision...Dr said no good....refraction done each time...she told me can't correct enough and it's a waste of my money. I had/ have cataracts they told me they are watching them, but no need so far to do them yet....Both surgeon and opthamologist agree. They are scratching their heads on why I still have fluid that is so slow to go away...tell me patience and everyone heals differently. I'm trying just worried...

Have you been refracted for new glasses?  A new prescription may help improve the vision.  Also, a cataract is common after vitrectomy and this may be the problem with the glare and difficulty with night driving.  I would see your retina specialist again for a complete evaluation.  If there is a cataract, your retina doctor likely knows a good cataract surgeon locally.
