Mupirocin sprayed in eye

Accidentally, I sprayed  mupirocin/Dextamethasone 5GM/45ML/0.1%, a compounded nasal preparation, in my eye. I rinsed the eye with water for about one minute. Eye has had 5 retina surgeries, has band kerapothy, and no lens. PCC told me it's ok because the mupirocin is also used for eye preparations. Correct?

Mupirocin is the same as Bactroban. It is a nasal compound that my ENT has mixed for sinus infections.

The eye is sore today. I have little vision in the eye. However, it's pressure has risen, in the last few months, from from about 0 to fifteen. I will call my retinologist. Thank you.

I would use artificial tears every hoour so and if there is irritation or vision loss please call your ophthalmologist. I have never seen this actual drug so I have no experience with it.  Ear drops usually burn quite a bit when put in the eye due to the different pH so I have seen severe irritation due to ear dorps in the past.  I don't know enough about this drop.
