stye or skin tag

Can you get a stye on the inside of your eyelid? You cant see it from the outside, you have to hold the eyelid out to see it. It looks like a skin tag.   But it  sits back under the lid away from the lashes. And it  looks like a grain of rice or something. My eye feels a little irritated, but nothing more.

It would be called a chalazion or internal hordeolum.  If it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks go see an ophthalmologist as it may be something else.
