Narrow angle glaucoma

I believe I have been having narrow angle glaucoma attacks. Every so often my right eye will become extremely red and painful. My vision will be reduced in the eye and I see tremendous halos around lights. They longest my eye has stayed that way was about a week, most of the time it goes away in a day or two. I do not want to have another episode like this. I have made an appointment to see an ophthalmologist but could not get in until December. Could I really be having attacks of this type of glaucoma?

I doubt it for a 33 year old.  There are many cause, but uveitis is high on the list.
