I will apologize up front for the length of the information but my case has not been simple. I am 41. My issues started with a retinal detachment in left eye in Aug 2004, they first did a scleral buckle then 4 wks later had vitrectomy w/ air-gas exchange as the buckle did not correct issue. Soon after I developed a cataract (left) and had that Surgery in December, still having an issue with the sub-retinal fluid had laser surgery in Jan 2005 to isolate puddle, YAG in May 2005 and after 2 years of constant daily debilitating migraines that was causing me to live on Hydrocodone to function, I got the Buckle removed in Oct 2006. In the mean time, I have also having problems with right eye. One of my more than dozen doctors diagnosed me with Keratoconus after I had a major muscle spasm in both eyes that made my eye lids VERY hard to keep open, worse part was I was driving 75 mph on the interstate while this happened, anyway the topography was very clear there was "coning" of the eye, 2 months later my new opthamologist had me come in early one morning, no reading no TV watching no driving and that topography was completely normal, I suspect that this is changing in the eyes is still occurring but nothing to the magnitude that that event was. They have not occurred again to that degree since we quit trying to correct left eye for visual acuity.9 By the was I also have a macular pucker in the left eye) I still have at times considerable pain in the left eye just below eye brow on nasal side feels like the muscle (were original migraines occurred before buckle removal) I don't know how much more I really need to list here( this is not all of it unfortunitly), it seems to be never ending. I just need to know what direction to go with the info that I did list but I have also developed night driving problems. The headlights cause these "seizures" for lack of another term in my eyes. Even after 4 yrs more than a dozen DR's and 2 eye institutes I am stil searching for help
