New Perscription

I just got an updated prescription for my glasses.  I have trouble seeing far-away, and this new prescription is slightly stronger in the right eye than the left.  The left's new prescription is relatively equivalent to what I previously had.  Now, when I toss on my new glasses, things seem a bit out of focus until my eyes adjust.  Since my left seems normal, and the right stronger, its quite confusing.  Will my eyes eventually get used to this slightly stronger prescription.  Is that a big deal if my eyes have a mismatch?  Am I causing permanent damage if my left prescription remains the same and right has been adjusted stronger?

Cheers

Go back quickly to the Eye MD or optometrist that prescribed the glasses. Ask for a "glasses recheck" in our office we do this at no charge to the patient. The glasses are checked to be sure they are ground right and if necessary changes are made and reported to the optician that made the glasses. In the USA it is customary for the optician to make at least one change for comfort or clarity without a charge if done in the first 30 days of purchase.

The clock is running don't wait go back as directed.
