One eye has been red for over a week now, where do I go?

I noticed that my right eye has had some redness to it for over a week now. I know it's not allergies, as both eyes would be red if such were the case. I also do not have any crust in the eye. This is not the first time this has happened. This occurred a few weeks ago and it went away for a few days before it came back. It also happened last year to me, and all times it was the right eye. There is some blurred vision in the eye. If I put Clear Eyes in it, it gets better for the day but just returns the next day. Should I just go to a regular eye doctor to get it checked out? What could it be? Popped blood vessel? Scratched Cornea? Nerve Issue?

Please post a photo.  You may need some blood test  ff these are recurrent subconjunctival hemorrhages or it could be a sign some chronic eye disease. Please see an ophthalmologist.

Unfortunately, I cannot post a photo now. But, after looking at the photo on here:

It does look similar to the pink eye.  I'll make the appointment with my eye doctor. Thanks!

Just an update, saw the doctor last night. They checked it out, also looked through he microscope, ran some tests and found no issues. Suggested it was an allergy in the eye so gave me some BEPREVE and sent me on my way.
