One eye higher than the other

Hello doc, i have noticed that one of my eyes is lower than the other, i did not have this problem 3 or 2 months ago,  I can see the difference in pictures. I do not know what is happening to me, i have insomnia, i cant sleep, i sleep even days, also i was taking nyquil and arginine like 7 times, i used to sleep on the side in which the eye is lower, also i play soccer in very cold places and used to take showers with warm and cold water. I  dont have any problem with my vision, it is just a
esthetic problem. Also my face is gettin bigger, I have not gained weight but my face is gettin bigger and my cheeks have fattened. Doctor, the most important problem for me is the eye, do you know what it is? where can i go ? and to who i have to go? thank you so much for your time, if you answer to this, I WILL CONSIDER YOU AS ONE OF THE BEST DOCTORS :)

Living in Maryland you will have access to oculoplastic surgeons including world class at Johns Hopkins' Wilmer Eye Institute. You will need to share your concerns with your parents and have them help you get evaluated.  JCH MD

There are two possibilities here:  1. This is not new and you just noticed it and your symptoms are due to anxiety.  2. This is new and it needs to be thoroughly investigated.

I will add by introduction that almost all of our faces are assymetrical. You hear photographers talking about taking pictures of the persons "best side".

However to evaluate your assertion that this is new and progressing you would need to involve physicians in your home area.  You should start by seeing an ophthalmologist Eye MD.  When you see the Eye MD take in some good facial pictures taken 5 and 10 years ago.   If you have a good facial photo like the one you attached and linked to your posting scan a photo made 10 years ago and draw a horizontal line on it like you did on this one.

The eye MD would need to do a complete eye exam. The Eye MD should look at you and your pictures before the technicians put ANY eye drops into your eyes as this can change the lid position.  After the eye exam it is likely you will need a head and orbital MRI.  The Eye MD may choose to refer you to a specialist called an oculoplastic surgeon that specializes in orbital problems.  You need to get your parents involved if you are a minor. I would also suggest you see your family MD to evaluate your other symptoms. There are problems like Paget's Disease, acromegaly, cranial bone and brain tissue problems that might cause this but they are very rare.

Where do you live? What is your age.
