Dr:
I have noticed within the last year that when I look at an LED Alarm Clock - from across the room, or even closer,
the green numbers seem to "jiggle" (they appear to move up and down). Some days it does not happen.
Eye History
Born with ONH -Optic Nerve Hypoplasia W/ No vision/Light Perception OD-
Vision in my left eye is strong, with mild-moderate astigmatism.
I notice that when I correct the astigmatism (when I don't have my glasses on----
(If I slightly move the corner of my good eye slightly back ( to correct the astigmatism.)
the numbers appear stop moving.
I am male in my early 30's, and am aware that individuals with ONH
may have other areas of neuro-pathology such as hormone variability Note: I didn't have septo.
LH/FTH always been normal. MRI Brain-Pituitary: Normal. TSH has always been suppressed.
Dx Subclinical Hyperthyroidism (Not Treated)
My questions are:
Is this phenomena normal -in my case- (which is much different from others,
or does it need additional neurological evaluation? (ie It is a result of the astigmatism)

Recent hormones my Dr. ordered came back unusual: (requested for fatigue, and low libido)
Testosterone (Total and Free) low.., and DHEA-S markedly low 78 (195-495) Never has this checked before
I will be having other tests in the next few days such as: ATCH and Cortisol
Given the abnormalities individuals w/ ONH may have, how should the above tests be evaluated,
and are their other hormones that have shown to be altered by ONH, even in adulthood.
The only Dx I have is: Subclinical hyperthroidism - which is not being treated.
Thank you (or anyone in the forum) for any help, direction, input, and advice you might have.
