PLEASE HELP!!

.My husband has been having problems with his eye for about 2 months now.  It started off puffy, dry, itchy, rashlike around the eyes with leakage, then he became seeing spots out his eye.  It eventually turned into huge dialated eyes, blurred vision, sensitivity to light, spots, with headaches.  He woke up this morning with his 2nd eye having blurred vision too.  He has been going to the opthamologist since it first started and all they do is give him eye drops and send  him home just to have him return in a couple days to do the same thing.  Is there anything else i may address to these doctors so that they can do something about it? Were really getting fustrated and im getting scared...What could it be? Why isnt these doctors doing anything about it?

Difficult to comment without an examination.  Ask the ophthalmologist what the diagnosis is and let us know what drops you are taking and we may be able to give some feedback.  If you feel the ophthlamologist is not doing a good job figuring out what is going on, you could always get a second opinion from another eye MD to see what they think.  Good luck.
