PRK after RK, anyone here have it done?
I am considering PRK after RK. I have 6 incisions in each eye. I was at -2.25 before RK. I am now 50 years old and i have 20/30 vision in left eye and 20/60 in right eye. My near vision requires 1.75 readers. I do have the beginnings of a cataract in my right eye. Just want to know if I should have PRK or go ahead and get the cataract surgery. I am interested in the LAL lens. Still not FDA approved though.
I have referred your question to a US investigator of the Light Adjustable Lens and who also consults on post RK reduction of vision. I'll let you know what he says. JCH MD
