Pars Planitis & Lightheaded-ness/Vertigo

Hello......I was dx with PP in both eyes back in Sept of 2015. I have been going every 6 months for dilated exams since dx. I am scheduled for my next exam on 3/9/17. Along with the usual flashing lights/lightning streaks that wax & wain, I have had an increase in the squiggly flashing lights. The squiggly flashing lights used to be an early indicator of a migraine coming on. But not anymore. I experienced the squiggly flashing lights yesterday and did not do my normal pre-migraine routine and no migraine came about. This is not the first time that has happened. Is there a difference is the "normal" flashing lights/lightning streaks and the squiggly ones? And should I make my eye Dr aware?

Also, I was dx with Sjogren's Syndrome in April of 2016. Since then I have had a slew of different problems that seem to wax/wain. Among them are vertigo/lightheaded-ness. Altho these problems are relatively newer, they happen several times a day when they do happen. And they happen nearly everyday. Out of a 7 day week I MIGHT go two days out of the week without feeling lightheaded or experiencing vertigo. This is VERY scary for me. I am iin-between Rheumy's at the moment (currently waiting to hear from a potential Rheumy in Jonesboro, Ar. I live in S.E. Mo) and will inform her of this new development when I get accepted or denied.
My question is, should I bring up the lightheaded-ness/vertigo to my eye Dr? Especially since I am not seeing a Rheumy right now?

I thank you so very much in advance for your time & opinion!

Lisa

I believe you have posted her before. As people with migraines get older their migraines change less severe headache, nausea and vomiting and more eye symptoms. So the persisting sqiggly lines could be a ophthalmic migraine with no or mild headache. Remember there is a higher incidence of multiple sclerosis in patients with pars planitis. Discuss with your physicians you may need to see a neurologist.

Well I remember most people from Missouri that post. I had to get out the map to see where Fisk MO is. Best of luck. My uncle sold John Deere's for many years.
Fisk is a tiny speck on the map lol (population 342)  my user name came about because my two sons (Lane age 19 & Lance soon to be 18) were John Deere CRAZY when they were little boys! Needless to say, I've been using this username for a very long time. lol

Thanks so much for the well wishes! You are a godsend!!!

:)
Happy to help.
