Pars Planitis & SICCA Syndrome with Keratoconjuctivitis

Good afternoon.....me again lol. Just found out that I have active SICCA Syndrome with Keratoconjuctivitis. Is there any evidence that SICCA with Keratoconjunctivitis is caused by PP? I am still undergoing testing to either confirm or rule out Sjogren's. I will be undergoing a lip biopsy soon.

I do have a positive RF. I am aware that a positive RF is also found in SLE, Sjogren's & RA. But I am not currently experiencing dry eyes. Every now and then they will itch or burn. But I live in S. E. MO so I just assumed it was something in the air.

Thanks so much in advance! You have been such a big help to me and I appreciate you so much!! =)

No PP does not cause SS or Sicca (meaning dry) syndrome. They are both common eye problems. SS and dry eyes are more common in women, more common in women with autoimmune disorders.
